Equipment Needed 

• Regular connection to the internet ( i.e. a dial-up account, leased line, ISDN and a modem) for outgoing streams. 
• Satellite antenna, LNB, coax. cable, DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) / Decoder that supports the NileSat service 
• PC interface DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) 
  • DVBs come in 2 kinds, external & internal. 
    • Internal DVB: it interfaces with PCI slot in the computer motherboard. 
    • External DVBs (2 kinds):
      • An external DVB that interfaces with the USB port in your computer
      • An external DVB RJ 45 that interfaces with your LAN hub & server.

System Requirements:

The following hardware & software is required:

• At least 266MHz processor (Pentium Pro, Pentium II, Pentium III or other 100% compatible processor) 
• CD ROM drive.
• A modem
• Available PCI-Bus Interface slot (for internal PCI card) or available USB port ( for UX-2000 - external DVB ). 
• At least 50 Mbyte free hard disk capacity.
• Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT 
• A browser, either Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher or Netscape Navigator or Communicator 4.6 or higher.
